Cranial Nerve IV, The Trochlear Nerve
Cranial Nerve IV is tested for during extraocular movements. It performs intorsion, depression and abduction of the eye. A CN IV lesion will present as extorsion of the ipsilateral eye and worsened diplopia when looking down.
