Additional Comments: By default, all faculty not billed at USUHS will be assigned an adjunct appointment (e.g. Adjunct Assistant Professor or Adjunct Associate Professor). However, applicants or faculty members who demonstrate significant and continued participation in USUHS Department of Radiology activities (i.e. medical school), at a USUHS teaching hospital, are eligible for non-prefixed appointments (e.g. assistant professor and associate professor). Individuals with prefixed (i.e. "adjunct") appointments can obtain additional information on how to increase their involvement in departmental activities by contacting the departmental chair. Also, note that all non-billeted academic appointments are reviewed on an annual basis and that renewal (reappointment) is not automatic and requires documentation of continued activity in support of USUHS. |
