Residency Training: the “typical” path to Radiology
Navy: complete PGY1 year, do GMO/FS tour, then residency
Air Force: may go directly from PGY1 to residency or do GMO/flight surgeon tour, then residency (depends on applicant and applicant field)
- PGY1 & residency at same hospital for preselects (may mean doing a medicine or surgery PGY1 year, especially at WHMC)
