Accomplishments During Service:
Graduated second in
Hospital Corps School class, graduated first in Radioisotope Therapy Technique
School, graduated top 10 % Officer’s Candidates School, set up whole body
counter and the first use of radioactive tracers at the Naval Medical Research
Unit No. 2, instrumental in the Navy establishing a personnel radiological
control program for weapons.
