Accomplishments Since Retirement:

-Medical Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana - home of Garfield the cat.  Thought the mid-West and a small town would be ideal to raise my daughter and retire (again)...

-Subsequently moved back to California in 1998 to work for Radiological Associates of Sacramento helping to cover six sites including prostate seed implant programs, intracoronary brachytherapy, HDR, gamma knife and currently aiding in bringing up IMRT (I'm really tired).

-My greatest accomplishment was raising an outstanding daughter (although she takes the credit of raising me). Despite all the Navy moves and post retirement moves she has remained the stability in my life and is currently a freshman at UC Irvine studying Psychology (again to take care of me).

Words of Wisdom:

-Your life will always be filled with challenges.  It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.  The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now.

-Happiness is the way, so, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time... and remember time waits for no one.

-Some people "make it" that shouldn't and others that should have don't, but it's the lives that you touch along the way that count.

-And for those who touched my life during my career I want to especially thank Gary, Jim, Roby, Mike Knight, Mike Taylor, Mike Grissom and LaMarr Beuchler.  Thanks for being there!
